Options for placing your Vimeo livestream on your website include:
- Directly paste Vimeo's video links into your website - the video will be automatically embedded. Note that there are various privacy settings on Vimeo, so depending on how you have this set up, a video may or may not display on the front-end.
- Use the Vimeo ID (at the end of the video link) and our Add Media --> Vimeo Live function - if you create a recurring event, that ID shouldn't change.
- Use the embed code for an event as provided by Vimeo - see https://help.vimeo.com/hc/en-us/articles/12426942285841-Embed-my-event-on-my-website. If you have a recurring event, send us the embed code for that event - we'll create a shortcode using that embed code that you can stick anywhere on the site. As long as your livestream is based on a recurring event, this should be a one-time setup that you don't need to change (unless something changes on Vimeo).
- You can try creating a playlist of recurring events as well, and embed the playlist - see https://help.vimeo.com/hc/en-us/articles/24951040297617-How-can-my-viewers-watch-past-streams-of-a-recurring-event. Send us the embed code, and we'll create a shortcode that you can use anywhere on your site. Again, as long as it's recurring, this should be a one-time setup.
As always, if you need help or aren't seeing an option, submit a support ticket or email us at support@worshiptimes.org.
